Cooking Alaskan King Crab Chowder

Ingredients:

  • One (1) pound Alaskan King Crab Meat
  • Six (6) tablespoon Butter
  • One-half (1/2) cup chopped Red Onion
  • One-third (1/3) cup chopped Green Onion
  • One (1) chopped Tomato
  • One-third (1/3) cup chopped Celery
  • One (1) cup Water
  • Three (3) medium peeled and diced baking Potatoes
  • Two (2) cups Milk
  • One-fourth (1/4) teaspoon Tabasco
  • One-half (1/2) teaspoon Pepper
  • One-fourth (1/4) teaspoon of Salt

Directions:

  1. Prepare a big and heavy pot over a medium heat. Place the butter and wait until melted. Add the green onions, red onions, tomato and celery. Adjust the heat to low and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Lower again the heat and let the mixture simmer for 30 to 50 minutes. Place the crab meat, Tabasco, water, pepper, salt and milk. Stir continuously until it simmers. Remove from heat.
  3. Best served hot. Makes 4 servings
