Ingredients:
- Chunks of apple (alder wood)
- One (1) cup of Margarine (melted)
- Fourteen (14) cups of lemon juice, fresh
- One (1) tbsp. of Minced fresh parsley
- Twelve (12) tsp. of grated lemon rinds
- One (1) pinch of Salt
- Five (5) lbs. of frozen king crab legs, thawed
- Four (4) frozen lobster tails weighing about two (2) pounds, thawed
Directions:
-
Immerse the apple chunks (alder wood) in water for about thirty minutes.
-
Prepare your charcoal blaze in a smoker. Allow it to burn for fifteen to twenty minutes, then draw off
the chips and put them on your coals. Have the water pan positioned in the smoker. Include water to
fill the line.
-
Include the butter and the next four constituents, and stir them together. Split in half the mixture of
lemon-butter so the first half will be used to brush the crab and lobster and the other half set aside
for the moment.
-
Utilize a cooking spray to coat the rack. Position the smoker in and assemble the lobster tails and the
crab legs on the rack then utilize a grill lid as cover. For twenty minutes smoke the legs of your crab
and forty-five minutes to an hour for the lobster tails, or till the seafood flesh appears firm and
colourless.
-
Provide the dish along with the other half of the mixture of lemon-butter.
