Cooking King Crab Legs with Mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • Twelve (12) oz. of Alaska king crab split legs (thawed if needed)
  • Three (3) tbsp. of Butter or margarine
  • One (1) cup of Mushrooms (Fresh, sliced)
  • Two (2) tbsp. of Chopped-up green onion
  • One (1) to Two (2) tbsp. of Dry vermouth or sherry
  • One (1) tbsp. of Lemon fruit juice

Directions:

  1. Measuring about two and a half to three inches long cut your crab legs. Liquefy your butter in an 8x8x2 or a round 10-inch microwave-proof plate for about thirty seconds in high level heat.
  2. Include mushrooms, lemon juice, sherry and chopped-up green onion and use wax paper to cover. At high level, microwave and rotate the plate every minute by one fourth. Place over the crab legs with the meat side facing down and cover with another wax paper.
  3. At medium level heat, microwave for three to four minutes or till they are well heated. Every one and a half minutes, rotate the plate by one fourth. You can double this cooking method.
  4. For a conventional method, utilize a skillet to melt your butter and add in lemon juice. With meat facing down, sauté your crab legs then turn them and place them to the skillet’s sides. Have the onion and mushrooms sautéed and then splash the sherry over the whole constituents. Dish them up at once.
