Cooking Snow Crab Legs Stuffed Mushroom

Ingredients:

  • Two (2) pounds of large mushrooms, fresh
  • One-fourth (1/4) cup of mayonnaise
  • One (1) pound of snow crab legs meat
  • Two (2) tablepoons of butter
  • One-half (1/2) teaspoon of garlic salt
  • One-half piece of chopped medium-sized onion
  • Eight (8) ounces of shredded monterey jack cheese

Directions:

  1. Prepare the large mushrooms. Wash it and cut of the stems from the caps. Chop stems and set aside.
  2. Heat the button on a large sauce pan over medium heat. Add the stems and onion. Saute for 3 to 5 minutes or until the onion is translucent. Remove from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the mayonnaise, crab meat, garlic salt and monterey jack cheese to the onion mix. Blend well.
  4. Stuff the large mushrooms caps with the mixture. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese on top if desired.
  5. Put under broiler, cook until the stuffing bubbles.
  6. Makes 24 to 30 servings
