Crab Curry

 

Ingredients:

 

  • One fourth (1/4) cup butter  
  • One can (10 ½ ounces) cream of shrimp soup  
  • One half (1/2) teaspoon curry powder  
  • Two (2) tablespoons minced dry onion  
  • One- Two (1-2) cup crab meat (alternative: imitation crab meat)  
  • Salt and Pepper  

  

Preparation:

 

  1. Melt butter in a skillet and add the cream of shrimp soup. Blend until smooth.  
  2. Add the sour cream and onions and mix well.   Add in the crab meat and curry powder afterwards. Stir until it becomes thick.  
  3. Heat for five minutes or as long as it takes for the meat to be heated completely.  
  4. Add salt and pepper if desired and serve immediately over saffron, jasmine or white rice.  

  

This food is great for get-togethers or lunch with friends and family. Because it is served with rice this is a rather heavy meal and will make you happily full after eating. The curry does not taste too spicy so anyone will enjoy eating crab curry. This serves around two to four people. Be sure to make more though as your guests will probably be asking for seconds.
