Crab and Shrimp Casserole 

 

Ingredients: 

 

  • One (1) chopped onion, medium sized 
  • One (1) cup chopped celery 
  • One (1) cup mayonnaise 
  • One (1) teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce 
  • Tabasco sauce 
  • One half (1/2) cup of cracker crumbs 
  • One (1) tablespoon of melted butter 
  • One eight (1/8) teaspoon of black pepper 
  • Two (2) cans (4 and ½ ounces) of drained shrimp 
  • Two (2) tablespoons of melted butter 
  • One (1) can (6 ounces) of crab meat 

  

Preparation: 

 

  1. Prepare all ingredients, chop the onions and celery, drain the crab meat and shrimp and crush the crackers. 
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 
  3. Mix together the onion, celery, crab meat, shrimp, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, dashes of Tabasco sauce and the mayonnaise in a bowl. 
  4. Grease a casserole and spread the mixture on it evenly. 
  5. Mix together the butter and cracker crumbs. Pour it generously over the seafood mixture. 
  6. Put in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. Serve hot. 

 

Serving size for this is about 4-6. It is very good as it incorporates the use of two of the most delicious food under the sea. Making this is worth every penny.
