Ingredients:
- One (1) teaspoon ground black
pepper
- One (1) kilogram
crablets
- Two hundred (200) grams of
flour
- One (1) teaspoon rock
salt
- Three fourths (3/4) cup of
rum
- Two (2) cups cooking
oil.
Preparation:
- Rinse crablets until they are clean and then
drain the water.
- Take a bowl and put together the rum, rock
salt, crablets and ground black pepper. Make sure that the crablets are covered completely with the other
ingredients.
- Take a wok and heat oil on the stove. Deep fry
the crablets until they are crispy
- Drain any excess
oil.
- Place in a dish and serve with vinegar
sauce.
This dish can be served for dinner or lunch at home or as
hors d’ oeuvres at parties. Just watch as these crablets disappear from the plate into the stomachs of happy
guests! It is incredibly easy to make and easier to serve. Because of the rum content it is not suggested
that you serve this to kids. Adults however may indulge in this treat whenever they
like.
